Scheduled Maintenance
Singapore Zoom Phone Maintenance Apr 19, 2024 05:00-11:00 PDT
Zoom will perform service maintenance at our Asia Pacific (Singapore) data center starting on April 19th at 13:00 GMT (5:00 AM PST).

Zoom Phone users registered to the Asia Pacific (Singapore) data center will be automatically registered in an alternative Asia Pacific (Tokyo) data center. During the maintenance window, a brief disconnection may be experienced and notifications may be missed. If you get disconnected, the system will attempt to reconnect you automatically.

If you are a BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) customer, please ensure that your Session Border Controller (SBC) is configured with alternate routing to Zoom’s Asia Pacific (Tokyo) data center in addition to the Asia Pacific (Singapore) data center. During the maintenance window, connectivity to Zoom’s Asia Pacific (Singapore) data center will be blocked, which will force calls from the Session Border Controller (SBC) to failover to Zoom’s Asia Pacific (Tokyo) data center. Traffic will continue to be routed through the Asia Pacific (Singapore) data center once the maintenance is completed.

Zoom Phone users registered to the Asia Pacific (Melbourne) data center will be automatically registered in an alternative Asia Pacific (Sydney) data center. During the maintenance window, a brief disconnection may be experienced and notifications may be missed. If you get disconnected, the system will attempt to reconnect you automatically.

Zoom will perform service maintenance in the following SIP zones to replace certificates used by hardware phone (including supported managed and generic non-Zoom-managed devices) with certificates that will be signed by DigiCert Global Root G2 certificate authority. Action is requested for non-Zoom-managed "other" devices. There is no action required for supported managed devices, since it already has the DigiCert Global Root G2 pushed from Zoom.

Europe (Amsterdam)

Zoom will be transitioning to certificates signed by Digicert Global Root G2 certificate authority on our infrastructure during this maintenance window, and this will be a permanent change. We will not be able to postpone the date any further.

Customers are requested to keep both DigiCert Global Root CA and DigiCert Global Root G2 installed on their generic non-Zoom-managed devices as we work through this transition.

If you have not done so, install DigiCert Global Root G2 root certificate on your generic devices. You can download G2 certificate here: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061202

During the maintenance window, a brief disconnection of calls may be experienced while the TLS connections are being reset. Once the TLS connections are reset, the devices will attempt to use Zoom’s new certificate that is signed by DigiCert Global Root G2 certificates. Customers are requested to test inbound and outbound calling for generic non-Zoom-managed devices to ensure that the services are functional after the certificate updates.

In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Apr 12, 22:00 PDT
Scheduled - Zoom will be posting the Poly Trio C60 firmware 8.1.5 update for devices being used as Zoom Rooms Controllers and configured to use trio.zoom.us provisioning server (as described in https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0066569).

Trio C60s being used as Zoom Rooms Controllers configured in the manner described in the article will automatically poll the trio.zoom.us provisioning server once per day at a random time between the hours of 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM in their configured timezone. Once they contact the provisioning server, they will refresh their provisioning information and be instructed to download the update, install, and reboot. After rebooting, the Trio will be updated to its new firmware; the Poly Trio C60 8.1.5 firmware will automatically update itself to the Zoom Rooms Android Controller 5.15.5 application.

Depending on the version of Trio C60 firmware before the upgrade, the Zoom Rooms Android Controller may or may not retain its configuration and automatically pair to its configured Zoom Room. If your Trio C60 firmware version is 8.1.1 or greater, the Zoom Rooms Android Controller application will retain configuration and pairing. If your Trio C60 firmware version is below 8.1.1, the Zoom Rooms Android Controller application will be automatically signed out and must be manually signed in again. This is a one-time event, related to the upgrade, due to a firmware-level change starting in Trio C60 firmware version 8.1.1. For that reason, you may manually upgrade Trio C60 devices running older (pre 8.1.1) firmware from the device web GUI in advance of this provisioning server update, during a planned maintenance window so that they may be manually signed in to Zoom Rooms post-upgrade.

Apr 12, 17:00 PDT
Scheduled - Zoom will perform service maintenance in the following SIP zones to replace certificates used by hardware phone (including supported managed and generic non-Zoom-managed devices) with certificates that will be signed by DigiCert Global Root G2 certificate authority. Action is requested for non-Zoom-managed "other" devices. There is no action required for supported managed devices since it already has the DigiCert Global Root G2 pushed from Zoom.

US East (Virginia 1, Virginia 2, Virginia 3, Virginia 4)
US Central (Colorado, Colorado 2)
US East (New York)

Brazil (Sao Paulo)
