Due to recent demand increases on Zoom resources, new IP ranges will be added to Zoom resources for users joining meetings in China.  We recommend that network administrators, with Zoom specific firewall or network rules, update their systems as soon as possible in preparation.  A complete and updated list of network firewall IP ranges can be found on the Zoom Support site at:  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362683-Network-firewall-or-proxy-server-settings-for-Zoom

We will be providing an update to Zoom Phone in the Amsterdam data center.

Zoom Phone users registered to the Amsterdam data center will be automatically registered in an alternative datacenter when change starts at 10AM Pacific (7PM CEST). During the maintenance window, a brief disconnection may be experienced and notifications may be missed. If you get disconnected, the system will attempt to reconnect you automatically. If you are a BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) customer, please ensure that your Session Border Controller (SBC) is configured with alternate routing to Zoom’s Frankfurt data center in addition to the Amsterdam data center. During the maintenance window, connectivity to Zoom’s Amsterdam data center will be blocked which will force calls from the Session Border Controller (SBC) to failover to Zoom’s Frankfurt data center. Traffic will continue to be routed through the Zoom Amsterdam data center once the maintenance is completed at 3PM Pacific (May 28 at 12AM CEST).

During the maintenance window, a brief disconnection may be experienced and notifications may be missed. If you get disconnected, the system will attempt to reconnect you automatically. If you are a BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) customer, please ensure that your Session Border Controller (SBC) is configured with alternate routing to Zoom’s Mexico data center in addition to the Singapore data center. During the maintenance window, connectivity to Zoom’s Singapore data center will be blocked which will force calls from the Session Border Controller (SBC) to failover to Zoom’s Mexico data center. Traffic will continue to be routed through the Zoom Singapore data center once the maintenance is completed at 3PM Pacific (6/4/2022 6AM SGT).

Resolved - The incident has been resolved. Kindly follow the workaround of rebooting the impacted Cisco Telepresence devices to restore the functionality.

Identified - During regular planned maintenance of the Zoom Phone backend, an unforseen bug caused some Cisco Telepresence devices to lose their registration to the Zoom Phone services. This bug has been identified and resolved. The impacted devices are unable to automatically re-register to the Zoom Phone backend and will require to be rebooted to restore functionality.

Scheduled - We will be posting the Poly Trio 7.2.2 update for Trio 8500, 8800 and C60 devices being used as Zoom Rooms Controllers and provisioned to use trio.zoom.us. The devices will automatically poll the trio.zoom.us provisioning server once per day at a random time between the hours of 12:00am - 06:00am in their configured timezone. Once they contact the provisioning server, they will refresh their provisioning information and be instructed to download the update, install and reboot. After rebooting, the Trio will be updated to the Poly Trio 7.2.2 software and the Zoom Rooms Android Controller 5.9.3 application. The Zoom Rooms Android Controller will retain its configuration and automatically pair to its configured Zoom Room.

You will need to enable the new numbers in the Zoom web portal to be made available for use on your account. Currently scheduled meetings for 5/15/22 and onward should be rescheduled, and the new toll numbers will be reflected in newly scheduled meetings. If meeting invites are not updated to reflect the new toll numbers, participants dialing in from Japan will not be able to join using the decommissioned numbers after 5/15/22. Any newly created meetings scheduled after you’ve enabled the new numbers in your portal will be automatically updated with the new toll number(s) for future invites.

To view your current and new numbers in order to make the above changes, please visit the Zoom web portal: https://zoom.us/account/setting?tab=telephony There you will be able to find all Japan numbers that will remain supported.
