Scheduled - Zoom is continuously optimizing our global footprint to improve performance and availability for our customers. With this, starting from Jan 10th, 2025, Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center plans to shift traffic from old data centers to our newer data centers with weekly continuous migration changes.

The Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center team will start to change the sip zone from the old sip zone to the new sip zone in the backend. We are sending out this notification to inform our customers of this change along with some reminders which will assist customers.

We wanted to remind customers for optimal experience, and to avoid any potential issues, to please allow Zoom Traffic to all subnets located on our Zoom Network Firewall page. This includes specific sections for Zoom Phone & Zoom Contact Center.

Customers would see the change in the admin portal of their sites showing the new sip zone after those changes if “Display Custom SIP Zone Options on Web Portal” feature is enabled in Zoom Phone. Customers would not see the sip zone name in Zoom Contact Center thus no portal change for Contact Center customers.

Please note that all hardware phones will automatically reboot when a data center migration is triggered. If you have an ongoing call, it will reboot once the call has ended. Migrations are planned to occur during our weekend off hour change windows to reduce impact.

To ensure that customers are aware of this change, we are sending out this notification, along with some reminders on allow lists for firewalls or other controls that will ensure customers are not impacted in any way by these changes. Customers should not need to do any active changes if they are following the guidance as provided in Zoom network firewall or proxy server settings. What is changing? Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center are shifting traffic from the old data centers to the new data centers

When is this planned? Starting from Jan 10th, 2025 and on a weekly basis until all traffic moved over

What do I, as a customer, need to do? If whitelist is done following Zoom network firewall or proxy server settings, nothing need to be done by customer in this step

Do I need to update my firewall or other systems to allow communications with these new data centers? Following the guidelines in Zoom network firewall or proxy server settings will help customers connect to the available Zoom data centers globally. As Zoom scales to meet customer demand and enable future products, platform IP addresses and network ranges will change to accommodate service growth and seasonal load spikes. As these services and ranges frequently evolve, Zoom does not provide specific IP address ranges assigned to geographical locations.

Will this be the only change for Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center? As Zoom continuously optimizes our global footprint to improve performance and availability, there will be additional changes like Generic Device, BYOC, BYOP migration and will be communicated separately. Following the guidance in Zoom network firewall or proxy server settings will help customers connect to the available Zoom data centers.

As part of the continued improvement on resiliency, Zoom is scheduled to perform the migration of https://gstatic.zoom.us site to use zoom CDN infrastructure from 1AM to 2AM on June 28 , 2025 UTC time. No down time is expected as part of this change. However, customer is expected to add *.zoom.us and *.zoom.com domain and IPv4/IPv6 address and port of Zoom CDN in the firewall or proxy server setting before the scheduled maintenance. Otherwise, services from Zoom will be impacted.

Announcing IP Address Changes (No Operational Impact) Jul 1, 2025 23:59 - Jul 2, 2025 00:00 PDT

Zoom will be removing a total of 13 IP ranges from the Zoom Meeting, Zoom Contact Center, and Cloud Room Connector services. These IPv4 ranges no longer host resources and will be removed from Zoom’s inventory starting no earlier than 30 days from the posting of this notice. Due to this, we recommend that network administrators, with Zoom-specific firewall or network rules, update their systems as soon as possible in preparation.

Announcing service status page transition to www.zoomstatus.com Aug 13, 2025 18:00 - Aug 20, 2025 18:00 PDT

Zoom is introducing a new Zoom Service Status page, “www.zoomstatus.com”.

On August 14, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 AM UTC, status.zoom.us and status.zoom.com will be retired and www.zoomstatus.com will be the new official status site for Zoom. Furthermore, new e-mail notifications will come from no-reply@zoomstatus.com. To avoid any access issues, please add the www.zoomstatus.com site to your allow list if you filter internet access.

If you are a customer subscribed to the Zoom Service Status page via email, SMS, Webhooks, or Slack, we will ensure your subscriptions are transferred to the new www.zoomstatus.com page. However, please ensure any systems processing these requests are configured to support the new www.zoomstatus.com URL and/or no-reply@zoomstatus.com origination address (for example ensure spam filters do not block the address).

If you are a customer subscribed to the Zoom Service Status page via RSS/Atom feed, you will need to migrate to the new RSS/Atom feed on August 14, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 AM UTC.
